Don’t find yourself up the Canal without a paddle!
The Lions Club of Merrickville is inviting friends, families, neighbors, workmates, soulmates, absolutely everyone – to paddle on down for some great cash prizes. It is all pretty simple:

You can enter Voyageur Canoe team of six paddlers for free.

Prize money awarded will be $100 for 1st place, $90 for 2nd place, $60 for 3rd place. A prize of $50 will go the best costumed team.
Teams are to assemble at Blockhouse Park, alongside the Friends of the Rideau Depot, on Sunday, August 1 at 1:00 pm.
Depending on the number of entries the Lions reserve the right to start the event earlier (teams will be notified). Or to restrict the number of entries.
